Kerri Sterrett, MA, LPC
Kerri is an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDRIA Consultant-In-Training. She is part of the counseling team at Greenwood Counseling Center, and is an adjunct faculty member at Regis University’s MA in Counseling program. In her 10+ years as a counselor, Kerri has specialized in helping her clients recover from trauma, dysfunctional family systems, PTSD, depression, anxiety, stressful life transitions, and grief and loss. Kerri utilizes an eclectic approach, but has found EMDR therapy to be one of the most effective tools in helping her clients reach their therapy goals. Kerri enjoys helping her clients become their most authentic self by healing emotional wounds, gaining personal insight, and ultimately breaking free from old, unhelpful patterns of interacting with the world.
As her role as a Consultant-In-Training, Kerri offers both individual and group consultation for EMDR trained clinicians seeking EMDR certification. In additional to private practice and consulting, Kerri also does part-time work with First Responders and their families, offering clinical services focused on EMDR, trauma, and resiliency. Additionally, Kerri has a great deal of experience in training and education, as a prior High School teacher, Clinical Director, and Adjunct Faculty for graduate students. Kerri’s counseling and consulting approach is engaging, heartfelt, and centers on building meaningful connections.
