This workbook is designed to support individuals preparing for EMDR therapy who may need additional time to build emotional regulation, safety, and resilience before beginning trauma reprocessing. It is especially helpful for those with complex trauma, dissociation, attachment wounds, recent loss, or difficulty staying within their window of tolerance.

Through guided exercises and practical coping strategies, readers develop the skills needed to strengthen emotional stability, increase self-awareness, and build confidence in managing distress. Therapists can use this workbook during the preparation phase of EMDR or whenever clients need additional resources before or during trauma treatment.

Rather than rushing into trauma processing, this workbook emphasizes that healing begins with creating a strong foundation of safety, trust, and regulation—making the therapeutic process more manageable, effective, and sustainable over time.
